“Even after all this time
The sun never says to the earth, “You owe me.”
Look what happens with a Love like that!
—It lights the whole Sky.” (Hafiz)

No doubt Hafiz was a great thinker, philosopher and a very beautiful poet. Persian literature always be proud of him. In his poetry, he portrayed not only the beauty of nature but discussed the problems of mankind. Through his poetry he dreamed of a peaceful World. His poetry is more relevant these days because the world needs to become a peaceful place to live in.
What rubbish! One-sided relationships never last. Looks like a case of unrequited love to me. When’s the last time the Earth did anything nice for the Sun? Is global-warming a coincidence? Looks to me like a psychotic, jilted lover taking his revenge!
